Assistance with Daily Living
The Heritage offers services for senior adults who need personal encouragement and assistance with daily living activities. These well-planned supportive services are specially tailored for individuals who do not need 24-hour comprehensive nursing care, but who have difficulty living independently at home.
Services, include:
- Assisted living can be a short or long-term solution
for the senior adult recovering from surgery or illness, or for those
whose condition requires assistance on a continuing basis.
- It is the compassion, courtesy, respect and sensitivity
to the individual needs of each resident that set the professional staff
at the Assisted Living Center apart from similar centers for senior
adults. Their thoughtful assistance allows residents to live as independently
as possible, at their own pace, while preserving self-respect, dignity
and peace of mind.
- Residents and families benefit from the comfortable
environment and a wide variety of supportive services:
- Daily visiting hours are not restricted.
- Four levels of assistance with daily living are provided
along with bathing, dressing and grooming, if needed.
- Enhanced levels II, III and IV are provided at an additional charge.

Additional Services, include
- Three delicious and nutritious meals each day,
with a choice of two hearty entrees for lunch. Substitutions and special
diets are also available. Residents enjoy the companionship of neighbors
and staff members while dining. Meals are reviewed by our Culinary
Director and Registered Dietitian and served in an attractive dining
room. A private dining room is available as needed; guests are always
welcome. Guest meals are billed to your account.
- Supervision of medications and regular health assessments
by licensed nursing staff, supervised by the Director of Nursing Services
supported by Certified Medication Aides and CNAs. Assisted Living Center
residents are given priority admission to the Health Center, if needed.
- Emergency call systems, monitored around-the-clock.
- Limited housekeeping services provided daily, with
a complete service provided weekly.
- Weekly flat linen services provided. Residents provide
their own linens. A separate resident laundry room is available at no
charge.
- A varied calendar of social, religious, cultural and
recreational activities, including scheduled transportation at no charge,
coordinated by a full-time Activities Director. Activities are available
both away from the Assisted Living Center and in the activity rooms,
reading room and lounge areas.
- A full-service beauty/barber shop. Charges are billed
to your account.
- All utilities, except long distance phone calls.
- Maintenance of suites and common areas.
Special Features, include
- Residents of the Assisted Living Center furnish
and decorate their own apartments according to individual taste, creating
a very home-like and comfortable environment.
- Wheelchair accessibility and courtyard patios are available.
The beautifully landscaped grounds include a covered front entry.
- Studio one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites offer
a variety of features that include:
- Wall-to-wall carpeting and
ample closet space.
- Efficiency kitchenettes with sink, under counter
microwave, refrigerator and cabinet storage.
- Private bathrooms with showers, security grab bars,
linen space and cosmetic closet.
- Individual heat and air conditioning controls.
- Local telephone and cable television included.
- Sprinkler system and smoke detector.
- Wall-to-wall carpeting and
ample closet space.
- Spacious activity and lounge areas complement the variety of physical features at the Assisted Living Center.
