Meet the E.C.H.O. Foundation’s Board of Directors
Eric D. Miller—President of the E.C.H.O. Foundation. Dr. Miller is a D.D.S., F.A.G.D. received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and graduated in 1984. Dr. Miller is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and maintains a private dental practice. He has served on the E.C.H.O. Foundation Board since 2002.
Diana Barker is an attorney in Tomball, Texas, with a private practice focused on wills, trusts, probate and business law. During her three years in Tomball, she has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Tomball, the Tomball Women’s Study Club, Windwood Presbyterian Church, and a 2005 addition to the board of the E.C.H.O. Foundation.
Tony Ber is the publisher of Profileshouston.com and President of R&R Publishing, Inc., and has been an active and aggressive northwest Houston community leader for over 30 years. As former President of Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce and founder/president of Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce and The Houston North Economic Forum, Ber promoted economic development while supporting community leaders and their projects. Through his publication Profileshouston.com, he continues to promote economic development and give his time and energy to many non-profit organizations including The American Heart Association, the Auntie Litter Project and the E.C.H.O. Foundation, just to name a few.
Dr. Stephanie Swafford Bruce is a board-certified OB/GYN and is a diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. After graduating from Southwestern University in 1993, she attended Texas A&M College of Medicine. During this time she served as Vice President of her medical school class, Clegg Scholar at the British Medical Journal in London, director of Martha’s Clinic for the homeless in Temple, TX, and received the Leadership in Medicine Humanitarian Award. After completion of her residency at the University of Texas Hermann Hospital in Houston, she returned to her hometown of Tomball where she practices medicine today. At Tomball Regional Medical Center, she serves on the Professional Activities Committee and as chairman of the planning committee for the new Women’s Center opening Fall 2006. Dr. Bruce is also a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society and is active in her local church. She has served as the medical member of the E.C.H.O. Foundation Board of Directors since 2005.
Stavros A. (Tom) Kikis is a CPA with the firm of Kikis & Company, P.C. His professional organizations include the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of CPAs. Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce honored Tom as 1995 Citizen of the Year because of his involvement in the civic and community activities. He is currently a director and/or officer of the Klein ISD Education Foundation, Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum Business Advisory Board, Richey Road Municipal Utility District as well as a Director of the E.C.H.O. Foundation.
Mathew Klein is a partner in Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial Parks with locations in Tomball, Klein, Magnolia and Cy-Fair. Mr. Klein graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a business degree. He is also a graduate of Tomball High School and is a member of Salem Lutheran Church. He has been a Director on the E.C.H.O. Foundation for many years. Mathew is a member of the Tomball Rotary Club and has been active in many youth organizations such as Tomball Little League, Boys Scouts of America Troop 113, as well as Concordia Lutheran High School Athletic Booster Club.
Lynn LeBouef, President/CEO of Tomball Regional Medical Center. Lynn has been an integral part of the Tomball Medical Center management team since 1978. In 1996, Lynn was named Executive Vice-President/Assistant Administrator and then Chief Operating Officer in 2001. He also served as Director of Cardiopulmonary for 18 years before moving into Administration. Lynn is a Board member of the Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Houston Chapter of the American Heart Association.
Latrell Shannon - Retired SBC/AT&T Corporation employee. Currently she is a Real Estate Broker and a Design Consultant. Mrs. Shannon is active in community service and is now serving on the Board of Directors of Tomball Regional Medical Center, the E.C.H.O. Foundation and the Tomball High School Alumni Association. She is also a commissioner on the City of Tomball Zoning Commission and a former member of its Parks and Beautification Advisory Board. Other involvements include the Tomball Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association, the Tomball Centennial Commission, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Association and the Kohrville-Tomball-Acres Home Communities Action Association, along with numerous charitable organizations. Latrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is a member of the Abundant Life Cathedral Church.
